ঢাকা, সেপ্টেম্বর ২৮ (বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকম) – চ্যাম্পিয়ন্স লিগে বায়ার্ন মিউনিখের বিপক্ষে বদলি খেলোয়াড় হিসেবে ম্যানচেস্টার সিটি কোচ রবার্তো মানচিনির মাঠে নামার নির্দেশ অমান্য করেননি বলে দাবি করছেন কার্লোস তেভেজ।
খেলার দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে ম্যান সিটি কোচ তেভেজকে বদলি খেলোয়াড় হিসেবে মাঠে নামার নির্দেশ দেন। কিন্তু আর্জেন্টিনার আক্রমণভাগের এই খেলোয়াড় মাঠে নামতে অস্বীকার করেন বলে অভিযোগ করেন মানচিনি। পরে তিনি বলেন, “আমি যদি আমার পথে হাঁটি, তাহলে তেভেজ আর আমার পাশে কখনোই থাকবেন না। আমার সঙ্গে তার পথ চলা এখানেই শেষ।”
খেলায় ইংল্যান্ডের প্রিমিয়ার লিগের দলটি হার মানে ২-০ গোলে।
কিন্তু বুধবার মানচিনির অভিযোগ উড়িয়ে দেন তেভেজ। এক বিবৃতিতে তিনি বলেন, “গা গরম করে খেলার জন্য আমি প্রস্তুতি নেই। এই মুহূর্তে সূনির্দিষ্টভাবে সব কিছু প্রকাশ করা যাবে না। তবে আমি খেলবো না, এমন কথা আমি কখনোই বলিনি।”
২৭ বছর বয়সী আক্রমণভাগের এই খেলোয়াড় তার মাঠে না নামার ব্যাপারে ম্যান সিটির ‘বেঞ্চে’ ভুল বোঝাবুঝির সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল বলে উল্লেখ করেন এবং এ জন্য তিনি ক্লাবের সমর্থকদের কাছে ক্ষমাও চান।
